Generosity has different forms .... What are you generous in?? and how generous are you?

I like to think I am generous, but we can always give more. No matter our station in life, there seems to always be someone in greater need.
So what am I generous in??
- TIME - I volunteer time every week that I'm home at two women's shelters near where I live in Maryland.
- STUFF - I live pretty lean so if I have something I don't need anymore I give it to a thrift store (typically with Saint Vincent de Paul Society). This includes a lot of clothes every year.
- MONEY - Here's where I think I could do more. I do have money deducted at work for two charities I like, but I could give more.
I generally don't talk about this stuff, but you asked. And even so I almost didn't answer. But idk, I think we could all give more and should. So here's my plea to the universe... Give to those less fortunate in whatever way you can. {hugs}

Such a beautiful soul.... Even giving a smile to children is considered generosity because it is spread freely and for a good cause....

And yes, I want to repeat what you said about a smile. We all have good days and bad... But the simplest thing we can do on any day to make this a better world is to share a smile.
This past Spring when things first flared up in Ukraine, I was temporarily in Romania for about a month. So many sad faces coming on foot from Ukraine. Young and old alike. After my duty shifts nearly everyday I went down to the refugee processing center to share smiles and candy bars and to help out anyway I could.
Generosity requires not one cent. If you have no money to give, then give of yourself. It will come back to you tenfold.
