❤️‍🩹 I am indescribably grateful for my partner’s keen empathy. He always seems to know what to say to help me feel at least a bit better.

All day I’ve been in a stupor about the tremendous setback for women’s rights. I’m taking my kiddo to a protest later not because I think it’ll make a difference, but more out of mourning and historical recognition. John is at work, so I haven’t said anything to him about all these feelz, which makes his thoughtfulness all the more touching and got a chuckle out of me.
