I think so too.Why lie??
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Eddiesolds Why do it? Risking your relationship for chasing of the wind
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@Justmeraeagain It doesnt make sense. When i meet a woman, im leaving here. Id rather be living with her in the real world.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Eddiesolds much better
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Yeh i do wonder why people do that. I swear im the only one who was like to their mrs, i went on this site ep to figure out peoples experiences of depression. It was really that simple

Monogamy is an outdated concept. We were meant to have multiple partners throughout our lifetimes…
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@Justmeraeagain If you haven’t cheated then you’ve at least been cheated on. We’ve all experienced it. It’s a normal part of dating and relationships..
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Quetzalcoatlus only cheaters tried to justify behavior by saying everyone does it
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@Justmeraeagain Not justifying it just saying that we all experience it. It’s a normal experience in all relationships because humans are not monogamous by nature..

And yet so many do. Or at least hide it.

Sidenote: I'm not pretending to be innocent here either.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Magenta Thier choice, feel sorry for those who trust them, however
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Seems stupid? It is stupid.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Rokasu Agree, but some seem like it's fine

Some people work hard to become a candidate for a deserved divorce.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
@Justmeraeagain
IMO they already did it when had a hidden virtual (or not) 2nd life
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@ElRengo True people who do this usually think nothing they do is thier own fault
ElRengo · 70-79, M
@Justmeraeagain
Adults are the ones that take the costs of adult freedom.
And love, as I conceive it, is also for adults only.

Some rather have the fantasy as a means of escaping their real life
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@SW-User Be better to change the real life
summersong · F
Tbh it makes the idea of committed relationships seem like a joke.

And I would argue that a lot of them are lying to themselves as well.
Magenta · F
@summersong
lying to themselves as well
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@summersong @summersong chasing greener pastures... An illusion

Agreed. In my estimation, people look online for relationships they don't have or aren't fulfilling in real life.

It's a poor substitute for a real, fulfilling, interpersonal, romatic/sexual relationship.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Justmeraeagain I think for a lot of people it's way easier than it used to be. It's fairly easy to get on a phone or computer and start sending out dick pics on blast and see who responds.

I don't think consequences enter into the picture until later if at all.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@SumKindaMunster If they learn that's one thing, however,it could be a devastating lesson
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Justmeraeagain Indeed. I don't tolerate infidelity in my relationship, that's definitely a line crossed that you can't come back from.
I hear you .. but can name some here in that scenario who are with/married to someone who is a cheater IRL .. or completely disengaged from their relationship .. forces them to live in a sexless marriage devoid of physical or emotional intimacy.

Neither person is doing right, so how is this any worse ??
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Stillwaiting in all honesty, nobody can make you do anything if you stay in a sexless marriage that is your choice.
AdamBomb98 · M
Ive not had a significant other in years sp i dont have to worry bout it LOL
