Lying to your significant other to have a virtual life they know nothing about seems stupid to me.

Agreed. In my estimation, people look online for relationships they don't have or aren't fulfilling in real life.

It's a poor substitute for a real, fulfilling, interpersonal, romatic/sexual relationship.

[@SumKindaMunster Do they ever considered changing thier real life or if a thrill seeker consider the cost of losing a loving spouse for a bit of meaninglessness fun?

@Justmeraeagain I think for a lot of people it's way easier than it used to be. It's fairly easy to get on a phone or computer and start sending out dick pics on blast and see who responds.

I don't think consequences enter into the picture until later if at all.

@Justmeraeagain Indeed. I don't tolerate infidelity in my relationship, that's definitely a line crossed that you can't come back from.
