Agreed. In my estimation, people look online for relationships they don't have or aren't fulfilling in real life.

It's a poor substitute for a real, fulfilling, interpersonal, romatic/sexual relationship.

Some people work hard to become a candidate for a deserved divorce.

Monogamy is an outdated concept. We were meant to have multiple partners throughout our lifetimes…

Some rather have the fantasy as a means of escaping their real life

And yet so many do. Or at least hide it.

I hear you .. but can name some here in that scenario who are with/married to someone who is a cheater IRL .. or completely disengaged from their relationship .. forces them to live in a sexless marriage devoid of physical or emotional intimacy.
