So committed to finding a house I’m determined to keep a walk-through appt. even when I’m ready to puke and can barely walk 😅

Seriously a miracle I got through that walk-through with everything vibrating 😵‍💫, but it was such a cool house I really didn’t want us to miss out. Felt like I was going to faint in the middle of their living room and John would have to carry me out ‘damsel in distress’ style 😅
—It’s fine. I’m fine. this is fine🤣

it was worth putting myself through it though. Nothing will ever be as funky as that retro fixer-upper-Mammoth, but this house is also a special sort of vintage nest. It’s A decent amount of footage, but still feels cozy. Lots of warm wood and light. Presently an artist lives there, so it still breathes ‘creative sanctuary’. Nice finished basement with high enough ceilings for John (tall people problems 🤭). We’d make it our bedroom/art studio and office. Big yards for the kids and GSD. Garage for John to work on his classic cars. It’s in great shape, so that makes John especially relieved.

Making sure not to get emotionally invested this time. Learned my lesson after my lil proverbial plane crash 😬😅

By hilarious coincidence though, ‘artist-sanctuary’ is across the street from ‘retro-Mammoth’, so if we do get this house I can joke that my intuition wasn’t wrong — just had bad GPS. 😜

Won’t know more until the bid reviews Tuesday. 🤞🤞

As for the vertigo and nausea. I am never taking that migraine medication again. That was a nightmare. It is nice to know though that if something completely knocks me on my ass John will take good care of me. Today I woke up still feeling a little out of sorts, but mostly good.
