Clearly the upcoming months of househunting will be bedazzled with insomnia 😅

It’s hard for me because or things I’ve written about in other posts when it comes to us finding a place that works with my disability and other things we need/want. I was really upset earlier this week, but I’m breathing through it and trying to be more open minded that more houses will appear than I am aware of presently. I just wish it wasn’t such a shark tank out there, you know? We actually offered more than the people who got the house we wanted, but they threw down 400 K in cash and skipped the inspection. Even with 20% down, we can’t compete with that. 🫣 @SooperSarah

@WhateverWorks The housing market is crazy right now. I encourage you to not do something like skipping the inspection to try to get an edge. I was watching the market in my area for years before I starting looking at houses. I missed out on the first house I looked at because I refused to get in a bidding war. You just have to believe it will work out for the best. It did for me. I'm much happier where I ended up.

Yeah, we definitely can’t skip the inspection. Last thing we need is a half a mill money-pit 😬 Just going to have to take our time until the right thing comes along. Getting a home together would be wonderful for our family, but drowning in debt and putting stress on our relationship like that would not be lol @SooperSarah
