What do you do with the pieces of a broken heart?

Crush them up and let the wind carry them away, never to be seen again?

Keep them in a little locked box, up in the top of the closet - out of sight out of mind?

Put them in a padded envelope and mail them to the one who broke it to pieces?

Leave them there, on the floor, to rot where they landed the day everything was broken and you couldn't fix it...

Does it even really matter...

Lawd knows.

Once something like that is shattered, it never shines like it once did , even if glued back together with kindness and love from another. 😔

@OogieBoogie I hear you. Is it possible, that we may agree to 'never say never'?

Is not a mindset of faith, optimism, altruism, positivity, self love, etc., beneficial to wellness?
@Oster1 yes....it is beneficial.
Very beneficial, maybe even essential.

But optimism, positivity, and self love can be sucked so much out of a person, they lose those traits altogether. 🤷‍♀️

You can remember it....but forget what it feels like, or the very things within yourself that generated it .

Optimism requires passion of some sort: feeling, desire, inner glory.

Not everyone gets to keep theirs.
Some give till they are empty .

@OogieBoogie You are blessed with an amazing heart, mind and soul. You also have been blessed wtih experiences, both good and bad ones. I believe you know how much I respect you, your strength and abilities.

I love how we interact, with each other. I always have.

Just know that not only do I understand your words, I also feel them.

I feel this undeniable synchronicity and it gives me pause and makes me think.
