I wouldn't be able to see them, since I might have already been dead. No one could stay with broken heart, coon't they?
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
No one wants to stay with a broken heart.

Some things are more beautiful for having been broken.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Mindfulness A nice thought.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
Do you take the time to listen, to care, to see,
To touch what other souls don't wish to feel,
Are you fake or are you real?

Broken hearts, tormented souls lost within deep and the darkened sea,
Left with only those painful memories that you wish would finally flee,

Time goes by, yet the pain remains the same,
Gnawing at your mind, as the days unwind,
The peace you seek, you never can quite find,

Finality often depletes even the most courageous of souls,
It beats up the mind and takes its toll,

The heart forever wounded and broken like shattered glass,
Memories you wish to bury from the past,
You realize nothing is ever really meant to last,

People move on as they grow old, some become incredibly cold,
Many just content to exist, to play that endless game and phony role,
Just a few thoughts from a thinking mind and a weary soul....
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@therighttothink50 I feel like I've been living exactly that. Thanks for posting.
BlueVeins · 22-25
you cuddle them, obviously. it's life support for your soul
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@BlueVeins Maybe so...
BlueVeins · 22-25
@LadyBronte duh, I'm always right
You of course carry them inside...

At first, we might only be able to shut off the hurting bits, pulsing with pain. For some, this can be part of a numbing which makes it hard to love fully again. Don't be *that* person.

We cry because it was real...and we mourn the loss of relationship...that's natural...but don't wallow in it, because that is its own paralysis...

Whether or not we spend time on it, we often find that the bits are healing, a little at a time...

...some day, we might realize that the dark clouds are gone...that our sorrow is vastly decreased...that we find ourselves fancying others...

It's ok to hurt...it's ok to heal...it's ok to allow this process to take whatever time it will...

It's your precious heart, tied to your soul...the hurt is real. Respect it...but let it go so it can't poison you. We need others...it's ok...you'll be ok. Trust that.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@SomeMichGuy Thanks. I have to find that trust to believe I will be ok. That seems to be lost as of yet. Good answer.
@LadyBronte Thank you...but do "keep on keeping on" and the pain should ease...
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@SomeMichGuy Thank you.
You know, i think on this a lot: the nature of ones heart, life, experience and purpose of this meagre existence.

And one thing that helps me is to try and see my 'self' from a deeper/broader perspective.

Not that im religious, far from it: But consciousness and the concept of its possible eternity.
So i suppose what im trying to say is, my broken heart from this 'life', is but a tiny segment of what i truly might be. It helps minimise the pain of it.

We are heart, body, and mind. The body will die, the heart will stop, but i believe consciousness will go on .

And if it does, then i imagine there are deeper more meaningful things to seek than trying to mend a broken heart.
Like, why cry about spilt milk, when there is wine.

Im not saying its a cure, or that ive succeed. But its made me search for something deeper that hopefully means more.

Im not sure if this makes sense at all. But i do know, trying to find peace, realising this life may be but a small part of what i am, helps put heartbreak into a more digestible experience.

It still hurts, it still makes me angry, it still parylises my thoughts sometimes.
But i wonder if its something im supoosed to learn.
I mean, how can i be whole, if im still hanging on to a broken heart?

Maybe love is more than that, bigger than just two people ?

For now, i just try to love the small things ....sunshine, breath, food, the fact i can walk ,talk and think .

I mean, it could be worse, i may have never learned how beautiful love was in the first place .
At least when i die, i know what it is to be so deeply and satisfyingly in love.

Yes, the loss of it hurts, ( and sometimes crushingly so). But you know , id take that over never knowing how beautiful it can be.💜
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@OogieBoogie Thank you. I have to agree with most everything. You do ha e to look beyond yourself. But, I would, it I could, never have loved at all. The knowing makes it worse. The wondering, yet never realizing what is missing in life, seems it would be infinitely easier to look upon life with joy and to remain positive...to dream of what was to come.
@LadyBronte ahh yes.
The idea that ignorance is bliss.

I have pondered this myself.

Yet i look at people on here, and their 'wanting' in life , of love, connection and bonding with a partner . It seems to be a falibility of human nature .

Not saying it isnt lovely, and a worthy goal. I just wonder if its just part of all that we are.
If i had never lost
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@OogieBoogie Two schools of thought. Something for everyone so to speak. Ww all choose what makes srnse to our situations and our journey.
SW-User
Every time I have experienced a broken heart, I have put it together slowly and more stronger. My broken heart spoke of my truth that I needed to see and understand and with that awareness, I could put it all together again.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@SW-User Good for you. Maybe I'm just not there yet. Or maybe its just irreparable this time.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
It’s just like anything else. If it’s broken, let the dr fix it. That’s what they do.

Once you’ve had that therapy, combine it with a good diet and exercise. A healthy mind and body works wonders.

As for the lost love, water always finds its level. Someone will sweep in to fill the void. That’s just the way nature works. There’s more than one true love for all of us. You just have to allow it to happen.

You have to participate in your own success. Start with smiling at yourself, then others. Let your beauty touch others. I’ve seen your smile. I guarantee it will work. 💯
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Adogslife Thanks. If only it were so easy. Maybe someday.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte I’m betting on success - hopefully sooner rather than later. 🤗
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Adogslife Thank you. That was kind.
Oster1 · M
Slowly but steadfastly, work around the clock, to put all the pieces, back together again.
😊🤗🌷
Oster1 · M
@LadyBronte Honestly, I knew you were going to ask this. I really did. 🤗🌺

'Putting the pieces, back togeher again', is probably one of the greatest challenges of life.

We have the option of one of two decisions to make, IMO.

Either we totally call it in and give up or we fight hard, to not accept defeat or to be broken.

It has been said that, "it's not what happens to us in life, but rather, how we deal wih it and overcome, in the face of adversity". In other words, how we pick ourselves up and stand again.

This is where we find, our true 'temper of steel and resolve'. This is synonymous with making a sword, for battle. Only through the fire, shaping, moulding and back in the fire repeatedly, will that blade, become hard and able to take a razor sharp edge. This can only be obtained, through tempering.

You ask me where to start. There are two ways. Are you ready, to start?

First is FORGIVENESS!

Yes, forgiveness of others and more importantly, forgiveness of ourselves. Ourselves!

Only then, can we start our journey to heal and move forward, to a better existence.

I have a very strong feeling, that I can help you, become free again. I could literally write, many paragraphs. I have felt your pain. I know what it's like. I assure you. I want absolutely, nothing in return. Nothing!

I just want to see you run towards the life, you always deserved, OK? 😊🤗🙏💐❤️
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Oster1 I am already lost at step one. There is no forgiveness.
Oster1 · M
@LadyBronte In all respects, this is THE only route to freedom and does not require any interactions of any kind. It's all done internally, within you. This is just a start. There is more. 🤗
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
I collect the broken hearts on my enemies and keep them in glass display jars. Ok, they are really just mason jars, but I'm on a budget.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
@LadyBronte Those are exactly that I'd have if I wasn't using mason jars.
Montanaman · M
Some heartbeats, beat to a different drum.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Montanaman Some hearts never get back into a rhythm for living.
cuddles1266 · 70-79, M
I use them to allow me to cry and fume and rant.
Then I put them on a table and get some glue. This is usually going out walking, running, playing outdoors. Then I find someone who understands and just have nice conversations with them.
The pieces then begin to come together and that's how I fix a broken heart.
Nature can be a real healer!
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@cuddles1266 Good advice. Thanks.
DoubleRings · 51-55, F
Gather them up and put them in your pocket for now. When the time comes you will be ready to look at it again, put some parts together over time. It may not be new again, but it won’t be broken forever. Let me know if I can help!
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@DoubleRings Thanks. A kind offer.
Montanaman · M
Ever try to fix a broken keepsake? With tape or super glue?
It's never really the same, even if it meant the world to you. 😞🤗❤️
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Montanaman No, it's never the same again.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M

Put it in the box and bury somewhere far far away so that it doesn't matter anymore.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Caleidoscope Or my alternative. Shove it down inside as far as you can and pretend you don’t care.
Hearts either keep beating or go still.
Rest is drama.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@sspec They may beat, but not with the steadiness or strength they did once did.
@LadyBronte Enjoy Saffola.
cycleman · 61-69, M
Just moved along
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@cycleman Easier said than done.
Lawd knows.

Once something like that is shattered, it never shines like it once did , even if glued back together with kindness and love from another. 😔

@OogieBoogie You are blessed with an amazing heart, mind and soul. You also have been blessed wtih experiences, both good and bad ones. I believe you know how much I respect you, your strength and abilities.

I love how we interact, with each other. I always have.

Just know that not only do I understand your words, I also feel them.

I feel this undeniable synchronicity and it gives me pause and makes me think.

I really appreciate this. Thank you. I want you, to have a very pleasant evening.
😊🤗🥰❤️🌹
@Oster1 thankyou, very kind and generous words.🤗
Bklynbadboy12 · 31-35, M
You can give it to me and let me mend your broken heart
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Bklynbadboy12 There's nothing good left of this old heart. I'll not give it away again.
