Are you worried about getting old?

I do. I am old, but I am concerned about loss of mobility, and maybe ending up in a nursing home. I hope I remain fit and healthy for many more years, even decades, but it does cross my mind.

My friend’s mother who was vibrant and active, had a stroke at 70, and she’s been in a nursing home ever since, paralyzed and unable to speak. That was about 8-years ago. That scares me, but I hope for the best.
