Have you ever seen a dog walk in pet shoes for the first time? It’s hilarious

GSD handled it much better than I thought he would waddling around the living room for a bit there before he found his groove. 🤭😂. I noticed a lot of broken glass lately when I’ve been taking him on walks, so here we are.. wearing dog shoes 🤣 I thought It would take a whole jar of peanut butter bribery to get him on board, but he humored me pretty well. I want him to have a positive association with his new dog booties, so the family took him on a fun, long-leash stroll down the trail.

John was impressed at how well-behaved GSD was compared to how uncontrollable he used to be, which made me a proud dog-mom. 😀

I’ll probably continue to do play-time walks in the booties then add the service vest/training bit later once the ‘shoes mean good things happen’ link is established.
