The passage of time changes the individuals we are and the friends we interact with....
There is always a time to move on. People are forever changing, some people never really get to know what the other person is really all about, until the passage of time. We all as human beings are constantly changing and rearranging our lives.
When we finally find out the true nature and motives of a friend, in many cases we feel that we can no longer be friends or jive with that particular person.
Life is all about attempting to live our lives with virtue. The older we become, the more important our values become. The more important the status of our soul becomes.
There is no time to waste our interactions on people who don't ever take the time to grow. Life is a constant learning/growth process.
Most people who dare to challenge themselves and grow, have priorities which change. It becomes harder for them to spend time on the vapid and vain stuff. And harder to spend time with people they no longer have anything left in common with.
We all wish to become better people, the only way for this to happen, unfortunately sometimes might mean leaving people behind we once thought of as our friends. But now come to realize that this is no longer possible.
Life is strange, what we hold precious one moment, could be fleeting the next. Humans by nature are fickle people. Long lasting true friendships are rare.
