But my home smells more and more of lilies as the flowers bloom all week since Mother’s Day. They remind me of my partner and I catch myself smiling. It’s only been a few days. I’ll see him tomorrow, but I miss him anyway.
It's not cheesy. If someone gave me roses, I would kiss them right away. On the cheeks of course. Lol I like getting flowers for the exact reason you mentioned. The scent of the flowers in your house, will remind you that special person, and that's beautiful.
