Age is irrelevant. I see old as someone who has forgotten to live and laugh.

Yes!! :D
When they start worrying about age and what'll they wear today.

@QueenOfQuirk: Well, I am not offended. But...

@QueenOfQuirk: I'm not offended, either, but it's funny to me because I remember when I thought that, too. 🙂
@QueenOfQuirk: Ikr.. 😆

70's
Oh no! If it weren't for my bad knees, I'd swear I was only 30!! That's when you're free and can still enjoy life. No whiny kids! 😆
JellyCat · 46-50, F
@JustaFriend: Actual age is different to what age you feel 🤗
Exactly!! @JellyCat:

I think it varies and has more to do with when someone has lost the will to live than physical age.
Any age older than me. 😕
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@Umile18: Nah you're not old. *hugs* :)
@LachrymoseLamer: Lol. I am. But thanks for that. 😊
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@Umile18: Anytime at all my friend. 😊🙃
But I still don't believe you're old. ;)

More and more I'm seeing it as a state of mind. Sometimes I feel really old. My octogenarian parents (who recently took my niece to an Alice In Chains concert) rarely do.
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
You're exactly right I think. It's not a question of years lived, rather years felt.
Ynotjenn · F
Depends on the person. As far as men...there are tons of very active and attractive men lots older than me :)
elVato · 46-50, M
seems to me the 40s are pinch point where if you don't end up with some life-threatening disease or disorder, you're good for another 20 years.
Those that hit this brick wall in the 40's seem old, of they make it through healthy those folks usually look good and don't seem old 'till they hit their 70s. Then. Old.
Just my observation after 40+ years.

If I had to give a specific age, I would say 45. It's hard to do that though because personality and general health have a lot to do with it, too.
But yeah, to answer your question: 45.

Ouch. I've only got a few good years left...
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@hisgoodgirl: I only say 45 if you don't factor in personality and general health. You can factor those out hypothetically but not realistically lol. You're fine

It's all how they carry themselves. I am close with a 71 year old that can run circles around a lot of us.

Indeed. :)
