Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

We can find comfort and peace through Scripture that promises us hope and a future. Fear, worry and anxiety are all weapons of Satan to keep us from experiencing the full life that God has for us. These emotions can overwhelm us and keep us paralyzed. We can learn how to live free from worry and anxiety by meditating on the Word and casting our cares upon Jesus. We can start today and take small steps today, toward living fully free from anxieties.

A Prayer to Soothe an Anxious and Worried Heart:

"Dear Lord, I thank you that I can come to You always, and for any reason. I’m grateful that when I pray to You, You answer me. Help me to come to You at the beginning of my fears and anxieties, instead of waiting until I can’t stand them anymore. The quicker I come to You, the better. You want to free me from ALL my fears. Help me look to You for help, often, so that I can experience the love, peace, and joy, only your Holy Spirit can give. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen."

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am only passing through, and God is on the throne. In light of the truth, all my fussing and fretting about current events is the height of silliness! Figuratively, I am like a rubbernecker passing a car wreck. "To live is Christ. To die is gain." All this morbid fascination and feckless frustration is such a waste of time!

@LadyGrace I certainly don't spend as much time as I used to! I was tired of being angry. That's on me. Dealing with the left makes me think horrible things, and I don't want my mind in that place anymore.
@Oberon1 Amen, brother. I feel the same.

@LadyGrace Our weapons and armor are 'both' spiritual, and not physical. Our victory can only be achieved through personal surrender; not to the powers and principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places, but to God's will.
@Oberon1 Truly!!

@LadyGrace Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
