This is a magnificent post.
When things seem to be headed South, I know I can count on God to help me through what ever the circumstances might be.
I only wish I was better at keeping my eyes toward God when things are going well too! [ My experience has been however, that God is a forgiving God, He doesn't hold a grudge.]

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am only passing through, and God is on the throne. In light of the truth, all my fussing and fretting about current events is the height of silliness! Figuratively, I am like a rubbernecker passing a car wreck. "To live is Christ. To die is gain." All this morbid fascination and feckless frustration is such a waste of time!
