Someone who has no friends irl whatsoever right now, I can totally agree with this. My loneliness gets to me some times I can't lie but the one solace I can have is that people can't actively try to stab me in the back which is what happened in most of my "friendships" growing up. Everyone just seems so fake

I’d agree with this in theory but so many do not know how to be a genuine friend and allowing perpetrators into your life is a potentially dangerous situation.@Carazaa
