Has there ever been a time when you actually enjoyed the sensation of being hungry?

When I was a child, I used to visit museums on a regular basis both for school field trips and during the summer months with my mom. Being that we would spend the entire morning and afternoon at the museum to see all the exhibits, I would eventually get very hungry. But I kind of liked that feeling, because I associated it with having a fun day exploring with my school class or my mother, and I knew I would get to eat something tasty as soon as we left.

I would at the Indiana State Fair.
We would travel through the animal exhibits and 4H and the quilts and crafts knowing that at the end of the walk there would be incredible food like oversized tenderloin sandwiches, French fries and milky ways fried in oil. I miss those days.
We also had the family reunions with the Amish where we would play hard and at the end be really hungry and get some home made vanilla ice cream to calm our huge appetites.
Incredibly hungry and then fed good food, the perfect combination!
