Well ... it's official I have Covid

@Slade You went to see a doctor? Even went to a hospital? I never missed a days work.

@hippyjoe1955 I got the test in a hospital when I went for something else. They wouldn't let me out.

2 days in jail it felt like

@Slade Wild! Around here they won't let you in unless you are nearly dead from some sort of covid ailment. I got my nose swabbed at a drug store.

@hippyjoe1955 I would have gone home. There was no need for me to be in hospital.

I had chest pain so someone insisted I go. I got swabbed, no fever nothing

@Slade Ah makes sense. You weren't there for the covid. Had those chest pains led to your very untimely demise your passing would have been counted as a covid death tho.

@hippyjoe1955 I legitimately enjoyed my time off from work when I had it. I got so much done around the house and luckily my only symptom was congestion. I was overworked at the time and needed to rest

I was testing positive for exactly two weeks before I could return to work and they were blowing my phone up even before then asking when I was coming back 😑

@Slade Yup. Another point is even if the antibodies disappear the body knows how to make a bunch really quickly if you come in contact with the disease again. IOW you and I are immune.
