@sunrisehawk I believe we are to strive to do our best. To help people, to be honest, to do our best and love with a kind heart. But not everyone has that attitude. Some it seem have quite the selfish opposite school of thought.

@sunrisehawk That they are. I realize I am a terrible judge of character and they are fantastic deceivers. I really stand no chance.

@sunrisehawk I am pretty sure I can't be objective when it comes to people I care about. I am better at just not.

@LadyBronte just stick to friends now and leave the door unlocked, so to speak.

@sunrisehawkI understand and I'll stick to friends, but I am keeping the door locked with no plans to open it again. Self preservation comes first from now on. Being alone, while difficult and honestly heartbreakingly lonely is so much kinder than realizing you weren't worth anything to someone you truly thought the world of.
