No, not at all. You should always maintain some of that innocence throughout your whole life. It makes life a little more tolerable.

When I was in high school, a friend call me "innocent". I thought maybe he was saying I was naïve, but he meant it as a compliment. There's nothing wrong with it; enjoy it while you can. :)
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@SW-User I thought they meant naive as well, and the person explained, but they didn't mean it in a good way. They told me to grow up.

Not at all. What remains pertinent is to remain mindful.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@CodyCode I think I am mindful. I don't think people should tell me to grow up when they don't know anything about me.
CodyCode · 36-40, M
@Manfredthemanic Then maybe leave behind what people say.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@CodyCode Leave them behind? That's hard for me, Cody, but I try. 🙈

It's a problem for those who wish others to be more "adult" minded.

It's not wrong, yet people will try to change that. I don't think people appreciate the innocent minded much as they get older. Too often, some wish to take away the innocence and I find that sad.
BritishPerson · 41-45, M
@SW-User I completely agree. No need to shed your innocence and be in a hurry to grow up too quickly.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@BritishPerson Yes, because I think some grown-ups are stupid. But not you and Breezy and a few other people here. 😊
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic You're right, a lot of grown-ups are VERY stupid. Unfortunately they're often the ones who end up being in charge of countries...😱😉😆
It depends on how old you are and if you are able to deal with life's responsibilities. Generally, adult behavior is expected from people 18 and over.
Dv8rs · 18-21, F
There's nothing wrong with it, unless they are acting innocent, because they're guilty of something, then it could be wrong
Fluffybull · F
No. It's a refreshing change from being cynical and nasty.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull I think so too, Fluffy. 😊🙈❤

Not at all!!
SW-User
No, but I don't know how anyone could be innocent minded and live in this world. Unless they were very young.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
Yes. You're not available for sex work on demand for free. You're not a good partner/performer. You'll be passed over for the lucrative marriages, they're getting better service everywhere else.
Jack17 · 18-21, M
Soon they will be telling you to grow up
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Jack17 They already are.
Jack17 · 18-21, M
@Manfredthemanic its a no win situation
InHeaven · F
Painful disappointment eventually. A lot . How to handle it
Azlotto · M
Not at all. A lot of people will interpret that as a sign of weakness, tho.
