What kind of stupid stuff did you do as a child?

• My room was messy, but everything was a project of some kind. For example, the Jack's bag beside my bed was for a mouse. It would eat fries while I was in bed. It made me feel less afraid to be alone.

• When my mother would vacuum the house, I would get down on my hands and knees and bark at the vacuum. I can still see her facial expression to this day. It was the look of defeat and sadness.

• I would spend hours outside setting up toy soldiers, then shoot them with a BB gun. I would also set them on fire. I made all the sound effects, such as people screaming and explosions.

• I was the kid who dropped his pants all the way to the ground to use the urinal.

We had chairs with fasteners on the bottom that held the seat in place and I used to crawl under it and kept turning them to sides saying I was "working". I did it repeatedly with an act of as if getting dressed and going to work, then "doing the job", then looking at watches and leaving "work". Turning fasteners to and fro was my idea of how it looks like when adults go to work and back home. Sadly, I wasn't that far from the truth in the bigger picture. 😐

In puberty I made anonymous calls to random people we picked from a phone books with friends or cousins.

I washed my hands in cold water for a longer period of time. I couldn't stand warm water on my hands.
