Why is it? that in the 20/21st century people are living longer but, their health-related quality of life has not improved. Older folks are still affected by chronic conditions like diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and dementia.

Because the Medical industry is focused on treating ailments not curing ailments..

Think about it for a second.. What's best for business? Producing a pill that cures a person of diabetes or producing a pill that a diabetic needs to take each day for the rest of their lives to stay alive? Sell one pill and lose a customer.. Or keep a life time customer who will buy a pill of you each day for 20 -40 -60 years ?

You don't really need to think much about it do you?
