Are humans intentionally devolving because they think being ditzy/dumb is cute?😮

I don't think many realize what is going on. I think it's a reason I have a hard time hanging on internet doing much of nothing. I feel a need to keep learning, keep doing new things and things I've already learned... I think many just go along with chatting, goofing off and not caring too much about learning or doing things.
I could be wrong... won't be the first time.
