How should success be measured?

By that measurement, who is the most successful person you know?
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
In my opinion a successful person is someone who has found a way of doing what they love to do. As a result of that they have found peace of mind, a reason to live and have helped other people along the way. There are few people like that.

Also some people who seem to be successful are not. I knew a man who seemed successful financially, physically and was quite respected in the community. Last Monday he killed himself, so obviously his visible "success" wasn't real.

I also know people who are rich compared to the average person but when I look a bit closer at their business dealings I see dishonesty happening.

Success seems to mean different things to different people.

Agreed.
Loving the life you're living is one of the most important factors to success imho.

God. He did nothing and so many people love him.

🤔never thought of it quite like that.

So you measure success by adoration?
SW-User
Not only by that. But everyone knows him, he gets money in shit tons, he has whole armies willing to die in his name...
Pretty successful if ya ask me.

God wins.

It should be measured on the hand of the amount of satisfaction it provoke's 👌

It depends upon your definition. They say it is subjective.

@hisgoodgirl: In my own perspective, it depends upon the dream and goal you set for yourself and wishes you wish to pursue while living here on earth.
Most of people feel they are successful when they achieve their goals.
I think, there's no absolute measure for success.
The beauty of success is how did you enjoy the process and growth as a person before achieving it.

Beautiful, well thought answer.
