Why does having a kid automatically age you 20 years and make your personality boring if you were a fun person before?

Because kids suck all the energy and life out of you

Because raising a child properly will take you at least 20 years and in that time you put your life on hold for your kids. Anything else is short changing them and they didnt ask to be here.That was your choice and your responsibility.😷

I don't think it really had an effect on my interests. It's a grind when they are very young because you're tired and attending to someone else's needs.

Because now you have responsibilities and they aren't a laughing matter. The kid comes first, fun comes a very distant tenth!

if anything, it keeps you young. But I could see it being boring from a certain point of view.

Because they make you stressed and depressed
