Well I did something stupid Friday

I took my medicine twice. I have never done that before. I separate it out each week in a pill dispenser for each day of the week. Friday was a particularly hectic day workwise and I was distracted and took Friday and Saturday dose of all my meds while I was talking to a colleague on the phone. I realize about 15 minutes after I did this. It was awful. The worst of it is I take blood pressure meds because of my stroke and my torn vertebral artery I have to be very careful with my BP. I am not supposed to let it get too high or too low either way could be a stroke for me. I've been told that if my BP gets below 90/60 to go to the ER. I had just gotten out of the hospital last week for another health issue I am going to need surgery for (will be a couple months out) and I did not want to go back to the ER. So bloody hell I spent all day Friday and Saturday hovering right at the 90/60 but not below. I probably should have gone in but I didn't I rode it out. Scared but I made it. Today my blood pressure is back to a safe range but Damn it I am so mad at myself for not paying closer attention. I am going to try to be a lot more mindful about slowing down and not letting work distract me when I take my medicine. I was supposed to start a new medication for the surgery I need and I couldn't because of my big mistake. On top of it all with all the anxiety I had this weekend I couldn't work and I really needed to. Tomorrow is going to be hell. Any ways if you've read this far thanks for listening to me reprimand myself for being distracted

Be careful, bp is hard to deal with. Is there an underlying health issue that causes the uneven blood pressure?

@SW-User yes I have a torn vertebral artery that has an aneurysm lodged in it. My body has to work harder to pump blood because of the torn artery. It's very close to my brain which is why they have not done surgery on it to repair it too risky at this point.

@SW-User I’m sorry that sounds frightening. I wish you good health.
