I usually just listen to music, go for a walk and enjoy the outdoors and tell myself how lucky I am.
NotNowJoanna · 56-60, F
I’m not feeling very lucky though…@CallieTG

@NotNowJoanna yea sorry, it's hard to know what to say to someone when you don't know what's going on with them. guess best i can do is a big hug for you.

I usually need to be alone to regain my strength and block out the noise that makes me feel like I should be someone or something that I am not.

After reading some of the comments below, just so I do not repeat any 😊, it seems things are actually pretty good. You just seem to be in a little "slump" possibly?
Well, think about it this way, even the best hitters in baseball have slumps.
Remember, the best hitters fail 7 out of 10 times and still hit .300. I am sure your average is better than .300 😉

I’ll take a walk outside and get a little fresh air…I live in a rural area, so I get the added benefit of Nature’s artistry
Doomflower · 36-40, M
Moving my body usually helps. Especially if there is music involved.
KyleRenn · 31-35, M
@Doomflower definitely a good one; we're designed for complex movement
Just take a break and go for a nice stroll along the riverside. 🤗

Go outside, get chocolate, listen to music, sing or dance...
Notanymore · 36-40, M
Tell me a blessing that you have?
NotNowJoanna · 56-60, F
I have a job I enjoy @Notanymore
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@NotNowJoanna that's bonus points. Even having a job is a blessing.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@NotNowJoanna are you safe and well fed?
Is there a reason you feel sorry for yourself? Has anything happened to trigger it?
NotNowJoanna · 56-60, F
Unfortunately yes…..@Mindfulness
@NotNowJoanna do you want to share?
NotNowJoanna · 56-60, F
Worth a go..@jjoe01
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
For me it never really lasts so I can just wait a few hours or a day and I see or hear something that makes me smile.

I find it helps to be busy even if it is just making sure I take a walk or do some shopping.
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
Maybe go to a dog park.Theres lots of love and happiness there. Those dogs will take your mind off things and cheer you up.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Eddiesolds Doesn't work for everyone, it's a long way down my list of enjoyable experiences!
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M

KyleRenn · 31-35, M
Hope it's improved! 🤞

The mood has lifted, thank you @KyleRenn
There are most likely a LOT more things working in your life, than not. Make a list of positive aspects, reach for better-feeling thoughts, appreciate all you have, and pat yourself on the back for all your accomplishments.

You're doing fine.
