If you keep trying, you will get to where you want to be

When I was in High School, there was a program for students who were interested in teaching. They were able to go to a nearby elementary school during their class time and be "teacher assistants" while getting school credit.

I wanted to be in this program, as it would help me see if I wanted to be a teacher. I could not get into the program nor get a class schedule change.

Fast forward to today:
I am now working in a school and get to shadow several teachers (once my own work is done), picking up tips and tricks along the way.
