The folly of youth

Just out of basic officer training I was bragging to my smaller uncle who was a WWII commando how tough and well trained I was. He told me he could stand me on my head in the corner and there would be nothing I could do about it. I challenged him and wound up on my head in the corner.

Yeah those WW2 guys were badass. Palm a car battery pick up an engine rip a car door off badass. I thought that men were that strong normally when I was a kid. It scared the livin shit outa me. lol

@SteelHands Yeah my uncle was a little guy but meaner that a rabid snake. My old high school principal was a retired Regimental Sergeant Major. We marched down the hall ways and were deathly quiet November 12. He would have a hellacious headache from drinking to all the men he lost during conflict on Remembrance Day - November 11.
