Have a family member with a weird Nick name?

One of my first cousins on my mom's side.. her name is Aleiah, but we call her puncho. Still to this day don't know or even understand why we call her that.

Me lol when I was little my aunts and uncles called me Yuki (you-key)
They had a "reason" they used to watch a soap opera called "el pecado de oyuki" (oyuki's sin) and they said I looked like her when I was little fair skinned and Asian eyes.
