So glad I noticed before it was too late ...,

Been talking to this guy a few days he said he live in UK but was currently in Africa with navy....
Don't know if I'm wrong to say this but I know something wasn't right by the way he talk he sounded like an African and not a Brit.
And then he suddenly started saying thing like he needs money for food and I know for a fact people in navy don't pay for food it's provided. He then has another number talking with me and then in the end he's talking to me on three numbers that is so wrong ...... I wasn't born yesterday so glad I noticed.
Think I'll leave men out my life for good unless I meet someone face to face

He’s a scammer. the Navy won’t let their people starve. They may ration out their food on the ships but not let them go hungry.

@cherokeepatti yea that's why I knew he was wrong.i have a friend in the army so I know all this

@MiraRoss well the Navy is limited on how much food they can store on their ships especially for long trips but anyway they get fed. These scammers are not the smartest bulbs in a string of lights.

@cherokeepatti if they get low they ration it everyone knows this and there trained to go without food if it comes to that

@MiraRoss I argue with scammers all the time. They tell you some long sorted story and believe we don’t know how things work here. No one will call you up unless they are a scammer and tell you that you have legal problems and if you don’t send them several hundred dollars of Amazon or EBay gift cards that you will be arrested.

@cherokeepatti yep he tried the oh it's my birthday will you get me 50pound Amazon gift card. I'm like hell no
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@MiraRoss maybe I ought to call up random people and tell them that and see how many Amazon cards I can collect. 😂

@MiraRoss The ones in India work for scam call centers and they work off of scripts. One of their favorite phrases is “I will explain to you each and every thing”. I like to repeat it back to them...so you are going to explain each and every thing. I toy with them as long as i can till I get bored and then I asked them what city they are in....Kolkata, Delhi, Siliguri, etc. So they know I know they are scammers in India and that I didn’t really believe their name was Alex or Michael calling from California. That’s usually when the cursing starts and then I get to say some curses in Hindi back at em. If they keep on I oink a loud rubber pig or rubber chicken into the phone and if they are really persistent it’s time to get the air horn.

@MiraRoss There are scam schools all over the world targeting first world country citizens. The ones in India are called School of Ethical Hacking....they teach them how to hack into other people’s computers so they can steal banking information and steal them blind. There are true ethical hackers here in the USA and also in the UK that run virtual machines that appear to be home computers to the scammers and while the scammers are trying to get into their computers they are actually having their own computers hacked into and information extracted. Sometimes they even erase all of the hacker’s files and send a virus to shut down their computer and every other computer it’s connected to in the call center.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@cherokeepatti omg they do schools for it, that's so wrong
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@MiraRoss They call it “ethical” hacking but damn everyone knows the graduates are headed to the scam centers to find work. Yes it is wrong. I got one scammer to hang up after arguing with him for about 10 minutes by telling him if he believed in karma at all it was headed his way and would come knocking at his door and he would lose everything he had one day....not another word and he hung up.
