Is true love real....?

Been talking with a guy for few days and it feels like I've known him for ages.
Can't meet him till next month because he's in the navy but I feel so strange when I talk with him, makes me so happy and I've never met him and I think he feels the same

One thing I like to point out to people that say long distance or meeting online doesn't count or that you need to meet someone and spend time with them to really fall for someone, is that back in the 40's and 50's, couples met during the wars by letters. Snail mail. People shared so much of each other back then and still fell in love, met face to face, married and lived a long life together. No emails, no chat programs, no video conferencing.

It can happen if both parties are open, honest and willing to communicate. So, why not? Why can't it be true. Sure you'll get trolls, sad sacks and others that don't want to see others happy try to shot it down or maybe they had bad experiences, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Explore, find out what is there and follow your heart. I will say this as I always do though, be safe, be careful and just be on guard. As there are wonderful and amazing people out there, there are those that will try to take advantage of them. So, it's always good to be wary but don't shut off all possibilities. Do listen to your gut. We all have instincts, follow yours. Wishing you the best of luck, stay safe and take care.🌷

@MiraRoss Dreams can do that, they are made up of so many influences. But it does sound like you have a connection and I can only hope it can be built on. You sound like a smart woman, so no need to drop a lot of warnings or advice. You sound like you're moving ahead with a clear mind and all based on what you've come to learn so far. Not jumping in wildly with eyes shut. :D I did that once....just once. lol

@MrPerditus1 I'm not jumping into it as I have kids to think about, just take it day by day till me meet. I've been with one guys for over ten years and he changed into a monster so don't want to end up in something that's all lies again

@MiraRoss Definitely a smart lady. Sorry the last relationship didn't work out and hope things go well for you in the future. Putting you and your kids first isn't always done, at least some people don't do it, but it's the right thing to do and it sounds like you're doing it. Taking it day by day is all you can do, but sounds like you're doing it right as well. Hoping all goes well and you find what you want.
