[@822235,soar2newhighs] I’ve had great Irish whiskey, but I don’t have much access here. I’d love to explore Ireland!
[@903658,BelovedTed] I heard of this looked for it and finally got someone to order it for me.

[@822235,soar2newhighs] How was it?
[@903658,BelovedTed] I bought it for a relative, so I can’t say. But I’m a Jack Daniels drinker.

[@822235,soar2newhighs] Ahh, Jack Daniels. Some Jack n’ Coke can really hit the spot.
[@903658,BelovedTed] learned to

[@822235,soar2newhighs] Why were you in Taiwan?
[@903658,BelovedTed] Military service. Was there for 15 months.

[@822235,soar2newhighs] Taiwan and not Vietnam. Intelligence?
[@903658,BelovedTed] I went wherever was sent. I was never sent to Viet Nam.

[@822235,soar2newhighs] Sorry, meant no disrespect. I am not familiar with the American military presence in Taiwan.
[@903658,BelovedTed] No offense taken. The US was there from the late 40s or early 1950s until 1979. Glad I got to serve there, as I was in my two tours in Korea.

[i[/i][@822235,soar2newhighs] The relationship between nationalist China and the US in WWII is not widely known. But, if not for Japan in China there’s no US reaction and no Pearl Harbor.
