Why do women buy only the top or bottom of a bikini?

Why have only the top or just the bottoms when you can buy a matching set? How do you even wear it separately? A bikini top with shorts? A bikini bottom with a t-shirt? Now your bra or underwear don't match. I just don't get it.

You can mix and match. A patterned top with a solid bottom or the other way around. It’s also nice if you wear different sizes, maybe you’re a smaller size for the bottom and a larger size for the top. 😊
