If we are going to argue and get triggered online

Shouldn't we do it Over stuff people really care about? Instead of religion and politics, why not fight over the stuff that truly matters? Like: is it pronounced Care-uh-mel or is it Car-mall? Do you turn the toilet paper in or out? If you had to choose between vanilla and chocolate which is better?

There are much bigger and more important things to get mad and scream at your screens over. Come on people! Show some creativity!

Pop, not soda ...

Like my pop pop......no it’s soda! Lol@Byron8by7
@Byron8by7 this I can agree with

@Keepitsimple Regional Midwestern dialect difference. I grew up in southeast Iowa, right across the Mississippi River from Illinois, and right across the Des Moines River from Missouri, where we call(ed) it "pop." In fifth grade, a kid from St. Louis moved to our town/school, and he called it "soda."

I don’t think I could ever call it pop. Is that how’s it’s labeled out there?@Byron8by7
Byron8by7 · M
@Keepitsimple No, just a regional custom.

@Byron8by7 I first heard it called “pop” when I went to school in Michigan. My reaction was “what the fuck did you just say?”

@Keepitsimple New England it's called tonic
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Slade thats so crazy, lol. Do you say sub or hoagie?
@Byron8by7 i'm from Oklahoma and we always called it pop. When I went to Texas, they called it a "cold drink" or "Coke" (no matter what brand or flavor it was).
Byron8by7 · M
@Slade And, in the "South," I am told it is called a "Coke," regardless of the brand or flavor of carbonated soft drink, i.e., "What kind of Coke do you want?".
Slade · 56-60, M
@Keepitsimple Sub. Some call it hero. I never heard hoagie until I travel
@Byron8by7 that's how they say it in Texas

@PrivateHell Yes, my ex-wife lived in Texas for five years; she told me about it.

@PrivateHell Show on ID last night about Subway Jared. He had all his minions put cameras in their preteen daughter's bedrooms so he could watch them and her friends

Now he's in prison getting the footlongs in a different orifice!

@Slade Safe to day they are more than double meat!
