I have a cat and whenever his nails get to sharp, I clip them.

@PublicUrinal they have cat nail clippers. Just be sure not to clip them too short

@PublicUrinal my cat is usually compliant with getting his claws clipped and I can do it on my own but you may have to have someone else hold the cat if they try to resist.
