I've seen kiosks at malls but...my old phones do not turn on, so I cannot get any pictures or any personal info that could have been left on it...

Do you think I should put in the kiosk and get a few bucks?
Or just smash and trash it?

I'm not sure if the company it'll end up with will know how to wipe the phones or what..

Again, none of the phones work, but I'm certain there are pictures (none wild) on there.

You can donate your old phones to the Coalition Against Domestic Violence. They're wiped of any old data and given to victims even if they're not working as a regular phone they can call 911.

To donate your unused phones or other electronics, visit NCADV’s website for a free shipping label (3 item minimum required). Or, simply mail them to: Cellular Recycler, Attn: NCADV, 4840 Sterling Drive, Unit A, Boulder, CO 80301. You don’t need to erase the data from your old device before sending—if refurbished, the item’s software is replaced with new software which will completely wipe clean any stored information from your device.
@SteelHands I was just about to relay this info. Good job!

@SteelHands like I stated above, the phones do not work...no use if they don't power on...

@iamnikki I know. When you upgraded they flipped the CID Chip into your next phone however they get phones with working chips that have other issues like cracked screens.
