My 21 year old daughter has stopped talking to me. What should I do?

Have you asked her what you did wrong yet? That would be a good place to start.
Adelina · 46-50, F
@BanPlastic No, but she won't reply to any of my messages and I believe she blocked me because every time I call her it goes straight to voice mail, so I feel like she's completely pushed me out of her life.

@Adelina Are you sure her phone didn't just get stolen or lost?
Adelina · 46-50, F
@BanPlastic That is a possibility, but highly unlikely. She would have tried to contact me by now if she got another phone. It's been over a month since we have communicated.

@Adelina How do you know she's okay? If I had a child and they suddenly stopped contact without explanation, I would think something happened to them.
Adelina · 46-50, F
@BanPlastic Her dad would have told me if something happened to her. She lives with him.

@Adelina Unless HE did something to her... You should drop by just to see her. Don't talk to her. Just see that she's there and then leave.

@BanPlastic That's a scary thought, but yeah, I need to figure out a way to check on her. I don't really think her dad did anything to her, but I wonder if she's going through depression and is starting to shut people out of her life one by one. She had started doing that with my mom a few months ago and now she's doing it to me.

@Adelina Ah yes. Depression can do that.
