My 21 year old daughter has stopped talking to me. What should I do?

Thats heartbreaking. If it helps, my son was estranged from us for a couple of years. we always kept the door open and he eventually returned. even thinking of those years still makes me heart ache.

@BiasForAction A couple of years?! Ouch.

@BiasForAction Thank you for your message. It helps to know that others have gone through this type of situation and that I'm not alone.

@BiasForAction I did that to my mother for a couple of months and she struggled to handle just that. But I did it to teach her a lesson for not respecting my boundaries.

@BanPlastic What caused you to start wanting to talk with your mom again?
BanPlastic · 31-35, M
@Adelina I opened up about how I felt, we had a chat, she apologized and seemed to understand my position and take everything onboard. She agreed not to repeat it. At the end of the day, she's also my mother. She gave me life. I owe her my life. And I'm not perfect either.
