What is the news from your city/town?

COVID numbers are receding. There were 6 break ins last month. Four animal control complaints. 14 citations given. Two businesses closed their doors permanently. Gas prices are rising. Appliances are on back order. The fire Department is having a fund raiser for a new emergency vehicle. The local sorority is hosting a pancake breakfast for a citizen with cancer. Most people are decently kind. Some still just suck. *shrug*

We are all locked down and the police are out accosting people to decide if their trip to the shops is (a) necessary and(b)if the shops are near enough to be called local.
