So I’ve just thrown out my Sunday papers....

And it dawned on me that I’d spent almost £10
on two ‘qualities’ and two ‘red tops’ and couldn’t find a single article worth reading twice !
Not sure if that means I’d be better saving the money by not bothering in future or whether it illustrates just how little is happening in the world right now.

*everyone in Myanmar

@Picklebobble2 Are you referencing the Rohingya genocide? I'm aware of Aung San Suu Ki's role in going as far as defending the military in the International Court of Justice, but let's not forget that the military are the ones that committed the genocide and now have staged a coup. She is undoubtedly guilty of attempting to cover it up but it seems like a false equivalence to say that her actions are equal to those of the army.

@EuphoricTurtle There are those in charge and those who pretend to be and that’s Myanmar in a nutshell.

It’s a country with poor governance and ‘acceptable faces of tyranny’ whether worn by an army General or a puppet princess masquerading as the acceptable face.

@Picklebobble2 True, the military has a ridiculous influence. But still Myanmar has made some progress, albeit not as much as required. Yet what little progress it has made seems to have been instantly wiped clean now.

It’s best to give up reading rubbish and gossip and focus your time in believing in yourself 🍎
