Could you be friends with someone that has opposite views politically?
I’m doing a poll for class! And, to explain more. For instance, if you voted for Biden could you be friends with a trump supporter? And vice versa.

I was, but after the 2016 election, my 'friend' melted down and started hating me, and I didn't even vote for the candidate she opposed. I just didn't hate her/him on the same level that my 'friend' did. Since I wasn't completely consumed by hatred for the candidate opposite my 'friend's' vote, I was thrown out in the garbage.

@RogueLoner yes a friend I had known here for years surprised me. I caught her making a disgusting hate filled rant at conservatives because of the faux election results . I called her out on her hateful
