Could you be friends with someone that has opposite views politically?

I’m doing a poll for class! And, to explain more. For instance, if you voted for Biden could you be friends with a trump supporter? And vice versa.

Not a friend. My housemate voted for Trump & I voted Biden, and we can get along easi;y * civilly, but we're not friends - I make it a point not to have any sort of serious discussion with her
