why does everyone have to be drinking alcohol to have fun?

why does everyone drink? i mean all the people im trying to be friends with drink when they hang out and its really hard to hang out with them. i jut dont want people to drink to have fun, its too common and its impossible to find people that dont drink, thats all i want people that dont drink. Im allergic to alcohol, and im deathly afraid of bars. i hate how everyone has to drink to have fun, i can die from even just a bit of alcohol. i really want a dance party where you dance without having any alcohol allowed there. I also dont like groups, i like to be close with one person, i always get left out of the situation when im with more then one person. i always feel like i dont matter as much as the other person.

I don't drink. I actually do not get along with drunks. Too much alcoholism in my life without me adding to it. I firmly believe that you do [b]NOT[/b] have to drink to have fun. Just let them know how you feel, and if they give you grief, then they aren't the friends you need.

that would be everyone, i tell everyone dont drink around me, when im not around drink as much as you want but not in front of me. i have no Friends because no one agrees to not drink around me. they just try to get me to drink.

I've been there. I had to be firm about it and just look for a new set of people with whom to hang out. My father was an alcoholic; both of my grandfathers; three of my uncles. It is a slippery slope I choose not to start down. Just be strong.

What do you like to do for entertainment? That might offer a different venue.

@Malchya: i cant afford that venue especially where i live. i enjoy swimming and weightlifting.
