I think it's one of those in the moment things. I've done it before when I thought someone got stabbed but can I say it'd happen again? Who knows. Your response very much depends on how much you can compose yourself in situations that translate as a crisis. A lot want to help but don't because they don't think they're worthy or capable of helping. Ideally, we all want to.

I like to think so, but you can never know until you're in the moment of course.

It's hard to decide being the one who would be in need if we are talking about a physical situation like a wild animal near me or a huge truck about to hit me. My illness makes me too fragile.

Those two choices have a very “all or nothing” vibe to them. 😂😂

I used to be like that, up till recently. Not anymore.
But for family, I make an exception.
