Is marriage like prostitution?

I've heard someone say this once. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

It depends on whom and the reason you married. If you marry your best friend then I doubt it ever feels like prostitution. But, if you marry someone just for their money or status and they treat you just as a house wife then it's most def prostitution.
