@zoiera I agree, empathy can go both ways but I wouldn't want to do without it. Although you can feel very empathic, it doesn't always mean you have to act on it (that's how I try to see it these days :-))

@kimmy159 True, I get your point and I honestly try my best to do that. But empathy sometimes has its way to make us vulnerable to a lot of things/situation/people to a point that we even throw out objectivity and reason outside the window.

@zoiera That's definitely true. Luckily for me personally, that only applies to the people I really love and not in general ^^

@bearinthehalfwayhouse I get the feeling the ass part might be what's visible on the surface lol. The real asses don't want to change that ;)

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit 😅 Pff expectations are the worst. I try not to expect anything anymore even though I'm the kind of person that would go to great lengths to fulfill the expectations of others :/
I started writing so I could write about perfect situations just because of that, it's like the best alternative I've every found :-))

@kimmy159 yeah they just end up frustrating us or letting us down. I gotta find my own way of just erasing my expectation ✏️

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Not all of them are bad of course, at least some of them should be fulfilled once in a while ^^
But for those moments where they can't be met, I can still write it off :D
