Feeling very uneasy

I left a post complaining about my friend on a public forum. Unfortunately because I was angry, I was also overly specific in what I said. I mentioned how he hadn't been in touch for ages and how selfish he could be. Someone then replied saying he sounded like a jerk but also said 'Does his name behind with a L by any chance?' It does but I thought nothing of it. However, I went back to the post later that day and the same person had replied 'This scenario all sounds remarkably familiar.' with a confused face emoji next to it. I freaked out and got admin to delete.
Three days on I get a text from my friend saying 'Hi, time for a quick chat?' My stomach just dropped. But I had no option but to call and he was completely fine and did not mention the post. Was it just a coincidence that he called or do you think he or someone we know saw it and alerted him? In that case, why was he not more angry? There were literally tons of replies saying what a jerk he was and I cant see him being okay with that if he did see the post?

Probably because he's trying to be a good friend. Friends forgive shit like that, and it sounds like you're being hard on yourself after the fact. It's better to just be less impulsive in the future, everyone makes mistakes.

@SnailTeeth Maybe it was just a coincidence that he called when he did but something seems fishy here.

@BluePlanet 1) you seem to overthink things. or better said, over emote about things.
2)a) if so many people think he is a jerk, is it possible they are right? and b) if so, why do you want to be friends?

@laotzu92 I'm just embarrassed. I think he has seen it and it just horrifes me as he could also other intimate posts I made under the same username.
