Just realized that the girl who drowned wasn't wearing s life jacket when she went over the dam.

The other kids that we rescued were wearing them . That's why it took so long for her to surface.

I've witnessed a drowning before, too. It's very surreal. I'm glad you were able to help the kids, at least. So sorry one didn't make it :(

When will people learn that it isn't safe to play near dams.
